Life Claim represented the surviving spouse of a man who died from end stage renal disease. Following his death, his wife sought to claim his group life insurance benefits from Humana, but was told by her husband’s employer that he had lost his benefits for failing to be actively at work after becoming sick, a provision that appears in most group life insurance policies. 

After being retained, we were able to go directly to Humana to get the claim resolved in our client’s favor.
